Hello world!
Hello and welcome to the Dawson corner of the web. We are preparing to welcome our first child and for our lives to change forever. We wanted a place where we could share news and notes about the two of us, our new daughter and our experiences as parents. We hope you all enjoy coming along for the ride on this exciting new journey.
This site will grow and develop along with our little girl. Right now it’s pretty simple. On this page you’ll see general posts about our family - specifically our daughter. We’ll be posting pictures and videos here quite often - just wanting to show off our daughter as much as possible - while also sharing stories about her and our family. We’ll also both have our own blogs.
Both Kari and I have our own little sections of the site and you can get to those on the sidebar to the right. We’ll be writing about our experiences as new parents (no promises on frequency of posts - we’re new to this whole parenting thing). We welcome comments and suggestions to make this a better experience - please join in the discussion!

Kari and Homer,
I CAN NOT WAIT FOR THURSDAY, but probably not as much as Kari. I wished I lived within 500 miles of you and could see Baby Dawson shortly after she makes her grand entrance into the world. Since I don’t and I can’t let me just say I will be probably a frequent visitor to this site! Thank you for keeping those of us that wished we lived closer to you, informed. I’m so happy for you both!
I’ve waited for this day for so long! Ever since I had Chloe, I could tell by the way Kari talked that she couldn’t wait to be a mom herself and I knew in my heart she would be a wonderful one!
As long as I’ve known Kari, She would talk about someday having the job of her dreams, meeting her prince charming, getting married, settling down and starting a family. I prayed to God everyday that he would grant my Best Friend everything she wished for, because NO ONE deserved it more then her! I Thank God for bringing such a wonderful person into my life, without her I don’t know what I would do or where I would be!
I never thought there would be a man alive that we be as kind, caring, loving, honest, and as truly unique as Kari, until I met Homer. You two are the most wonderful people I know and wish you both the best as you enter the next phase in your lives together. Parenthood is like a roller coaster and I know you guys will have the ride of your lives! I love you BOTH!
Best Wishes, Candice Rogers

I also have created a blog, it’s a good way to keep journal for the kids to see later on down the road. if you ever want to check out the boring life of the Fyten’s crazy household… Never really nothing exciting.. my folks love to see what we are up to as much as possible since they have moved up north… http://mylife-heidi.blogspot.com.

Hello you two, I’ll be looking for the pictures in a day or two. Good luck tonight and hope every thing goes as it should. I’ll have my cell with me all day tomorrow. Love you dearly. Mom
